Jonathan Ley produces maps of the Continental Divide Trail. He has thru-hiked the CDT as well as the Pacific Crest Trail. Mat Hazley, who recently finished the triple crown in a calandar year, used Jonathan’s Maps. In our conversation, Johathan speaks about his experiences on these trails and his CDT trail mapping project.

This was a wonderful interview. I am currently preparing for my 2006 CDT thru-hike, and Jonathan’s maps have been such a great help. The CDT community owes this guy a big thank you for his selfless service to the trail.

Thank you for this Interview, I enjoyed it so much! And thank you Johnathan for the beautifull maps! I just received them onw week ago here in Germany! Also got this beautifull printed guidebooks end of last jear but your maps are more detailed and I do not like to read the text (like you said it, I am also a map person - look at the map see the landscape that’s it !)
